At Flow State Strength, we're excited about creating science-baed strength programs that help you achieve a flow state during your running experience.
Taking the science from sports physiotherapy and strength and conditioning principles, our programs are designed to minimise injury risk and maximise performance!
Whether you train at home, in a gym or up a tree, we think we have something to help!
Flow State Strength was born out of a desire to encourage endurance runners to engage with a more holistic perspective to their running journey. One that celebrated being more than a runner, running without niggles and prioritising long term, sustainable enjoyment from being outdoors and putting one foot in front of the other!
The term flow state is described as an intrinsically positive experience. Everyone experiences this state but generally it refers to being absorbed by an experience so much that time fades away and you lose track of any self-consciousness. When you're in flow state it should feel effortless, like you were born to do your activity. You become so immersed that all distractions fade away.

Lachy is a sport & exercise physiotherapist that has worked in high performance for over a decade. Through his roles with British Athletics and the Victorian Institute of Sport he has worked with some of the best runners in the world. He is passionate about sharing his expertise with the running community to improve their exercise experience.

Best suited to runners without an injury that have general goals.
Programs are via PDF and will come with videos to show you how to complete each exercise.
Through careful questioning, discussion and planning, we'll build you a program to tackle the highest peaks and lowest valleys.
Best suited to runners with either a current or historical injury that needs managing.
Programs will be provided on teambuildr with videos showing you how to do each exercise. It is updated at the beginning.
Our most popular program! And for good reason! We will work with you to create an individualised program which is constantly monitored & progressed with recurring feedback on lifts and goals.
Best suited to runners with specific goals or those with a more intricate current or historical injury.
