Strength Training ProgramS for Runners (Online)

A progressive running-specific strength plan designed by sports physiotherapists and delivered via TeamBuildr. Built to support performance and consistency, not interfere with your runs.

WHAT SHOULD IT ACTUALLY DO?

A running-specific strength program should:

  • Build capacity in calves, hips, and trunk to tolerate running load
     
  • Improve single leg strength and control
     
  • Support economy and posture under fatigue
     
  • Reduce the stop start cycle from recurring niggles
     
  • Fit around key sessions like intervals, tempo, and long runs

If your strength is random or constantly changing, it is not a program. It is entertainment.

Through careful questioning, discussion and planning, we'll build you a program to tackle the highest peaks and lowest valleys.

Best suited to runners with either a current or historical injury that needs managing. 


Programs will be provided on teambuildr with videos showing you how to do each exercise. It is updated at the beginning.

Bespoke Flow State Strength

$115 /month

Our most popular program! And for good reason! We will work with you to create an individualised program which is constantly monitored & progressed with recurring feedback on lifts and goals.
 

Best suited to runners with specific goals or those with a more intricate current or historical injury.


Programs will be provided on teambuildr with videos showing you how to do each exercise. It is constantly updated.

Yes. We tailor the program to your running type. Trail runners often need more eccentric and single leg durability. Road runners often need efficient strength that does not compromise key sessions.


Yes. We take injury history seriously and build the plan with that context. If you need formal assessment and rehab planning, Telehealth Physiotherapy may be the better starting point.


Some soreness is normal early. The goal is to introduce strength in a way that supports your running, not wipes you out. We manage dose and timing.


Yes. We coach worldwide, with most clients currently in Melbourne and Victoria. Calls and check ins depend on coach availability and time zones.
